About the role
The Department of Educational Administration & Human Resources Development at Texas A&M University is seeking a creative Program Coordinator to lead its social media strategy. This role will shape digital storytelling that highlights graduate programs, drives student recruitment, and enhances the department’s online presence.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and continuously refine a comprehensive social‑media strategy aligned with departmental and college goals.
- Plan, launch, and manage campaigns across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube.
- Use analytics and performance metrics to guide content decisions and improve engagement.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and leadership to produce brand‑consistent, accessible content.
- Identify opportunities to boost brand awareness, audience interaction, and public perception.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and at least two years of relevant experience.
- Strong writing and editing abilities.
- Experience supporting graduate‑student recruitment and designing targeted recruitment campaigns.
- Ability to work cooperatively with cross‑functional teams.
Required skills
- Proficiency in managing LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube platforms.
- Knowledge of social‑media analytics tools and best practices.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
