Marketing Director (Gonzales Center)

About the role

Tanger is seeking a Marketing Director to lead marketing and partnership initiatives for its Gonzales shopping center. The role blends independent strategic planning with collaborative execution, leveraging a flexible, Teams‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual marketing plan and budget that drives center traffic, sales, and sponsorship revenue.
• Serve as the primary business development representative, prospecting, canvassing, and closing media, sponsorship, and non‑transactional revenue deals.
• Monitor and adjust the marketing budget, providing monthly financial forecasts and updates to the General Manager.
• Assist the General Manager in creating a comprehensive strategic business plan for the center.
• Design and launch national and local programs that integrate retailers, increase footfall, and enhance the center’s brand positioning.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading marketing initiatives for retail or shopping‑center environments.
• Strong business development track record with measurable revenue results.
• Ability to manage budgets, forecast financial performance, and adapt plans to real‑time market conditions.
• Collaborative mindset with the capacity to work independently and influence cross‑functional teams.
