Marketing & Communications Specialist

About the role

Trahan Architects is seeking a full‑time Marketing & Communications Specialist to join its New Orleans office. The role will support the firm’s leadership in shaping and executing marketing strategies that raise its global profile and showcase award‑winning architectural work.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement firm‑wide marketing campaigns, including RFQ/RFP proposal responses, brochures, and meeting collateral for both New Orleans and New York offices.
• Maintain and enforce graphic standards and visual identity across all media and platforms.
• Manage marketing systems, update processes, and track costs to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate internal workflows to meet deadline‑driven activities such as proposal submissions and time‑sensitive meetings.
• Represent the firm at pre‑proposal meetings and travel as needed to support business development.
• Act as liaison between external prospects and internal teams, ensuring professional responsiveness.
• Conduct background research for proposals and translate findings into compelling visual and written content.
• Identify award opportunities, submit entries, and manage award‑related calendars and budgets.

Required profile

• Professional experience in marketing or communications, preferably within architecture, design, or related professional services.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadline‑driven projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of producing persuasive proposal content.
• Detail‑oriented mindset and ability to maintain brand consistency.
• Willingness to travel and represent the firm at client meetings and industry events.
