Marketing Associate

About the role

The Marketing Associate will support the DMV area team in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive revenue and brand awareness for The Morrow Hotel. This role collaborates closely with sales, revenue management and other hotel functions to deliver integrated campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating annual marketing plans, budgets and strategic initiatives aligned with business goals.
• Coordinate internal and external communications across digital channels, including website, third‑party platforms and social media, while maintaining brand integrity.
• Support the production of marketing collateral, photo galleries, design templates and editorial calendars.
• Partner with social media agencies, manage content assets and oversee distribution across channels.
• Help plan and execute events, partnerships, PR initiatives and on‑property media tours.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Hospitality or related field.
• Minimum of one year of marketing or public‑relations experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Canva or similar graphic‑design tools.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and analytics.
• Experience managing social‑media platforms and creating content.
