Marketing and Social Media Specialist

About the role

The Marketing and Social Media Specialist is an entry‑level position reporting to the Director of Marketing. You will help drive brand awareness, recruitment, and other campaigns across multiple social platforms while supporting website content.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage social media campaigns, content calendars, posts, reels, and stories on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X.
• Engage audiences, write SEO‑rich captions, edit video content, and use analytics to evaluate campaign success.
• Generate press releases, blogs, and sales support materials aligned with brand voice.
• Coordinate charity events, town halls, university partnership activities, and career fairs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies for video/photo shoots and upcoming event planning.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, positive, outgoing, and able to relate to diverse audiences.
• Excellent oral and written communication, strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to think quickly, solve problems independently, and work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience using Canva and video‑editing software.
• Familiarity with social media management platforms and analytics tools.
