Marketing and Social Media Intern

About the role

Matrix designs, manufactures, and sells innovative technological products that improve safety and productivity. We are seeking a motivated Marketing & Social Media Intern for the 2027 Summer Internship to support our marketing and sales teams in a fast‑paced, collaborative office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic social media plan aligned with Matrix’s mission, covering Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive content calendar, producing posts, graphics, short‑form videos, and captions that translate technical concepts into clear, engaging messages.
• Monitor social channels, engage with audiences, and track performance metrics such as engagement, reach, and follower growth.
• Support promotion of company news, product updates, events, and thought‑leadership content.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Strong interest in technology, industrial innovation, or AI‑driven solutions.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking.

Required skills

• Familiarity with major platforms, especially Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Experience with content creation tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
