Manufacturing Technician – Cleanroom Equipment Build & Test

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. The role supports both semiconductor and advanced‑display product lines and requires close collaboration with engineering and quality teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, troubleshoot and repair electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies using work orders, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CVD reactors, vacuum pumps, gas panels, mass‑flow controllers and related subsystems.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement tools, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to validate assemblies and document results.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, process deviation records and ensure compliance with SOPs and cleanroom gowning requirements.
• Provide training to junior technicians and act as a quality lead for process improvements.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree or technical diploma in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of experience in semiconductor or display equipment manufacturing, or comparable military/industry experience.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, work in tight spaces and handle cleanroom PPE.
