QC Inspection Technician IV – 1st Shift

About the role

Performs advanced incoming, in‑process, and final inspection of precision‑manufactured components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, internal quality requirements, and applicable procedures. Acts as a senior‑level inspection resource, independently managing multiple inspection priorities and supporting resolution of complex quality issues.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex dimensional, visual, and final inspections using engineering drawings, specifications, and established acceptance criteria.
• Operate and interpret results from precision measurement equipment such as CMMs, vision systems, height gauges, micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and surface/profile measurement tools.
• Prioritize and manage multiple inspection assignments based on production schedules, customer commitments, and material availability.
• Document inspection results accurately in quality systems, inspection reports, travelers, and data sheets.
• Maintain inspection equipment calibration, cleanliness, and organized work areas.
• Identify opportunities for inspection efficiency improvements and participate in continuous‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control inspection or precision manufacturing.
• High‑school diploma required; associate degree or technical certification in quality, manufacturing, metrology, or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a controlled cleanroom environment and following gowning and contamination‑control protocols.
