Manufacturing Engineer I – 2nd Shift

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I for the 2nd shift at its U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, AL. You will join a multi‑function team supporting final assembly of the A220 aircraft, providing technical assistance and ensuring smooth production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to production and investigate workbook modifications.
• Create rework orders, handle non‑conformities, and support MES issue resolution.
• Validate technical content of BOIs, workbooks, and RNCs and give feedback to stakeholders.
• Analyze current status, generate reports, and manage continuous‑improvement routines.
• Support projects and PPS actions defined by the Multi‑Function Team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering or Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 0‑2 years of aerospace experience, preferably in final‑assembly line.
• Knowledge of aerospace processes, aircraft structures, systems, and design rules.
• Familiarity with the American aviation market and intercultural experience.
