Mandarin Tutor for K‑12 Students

About the role

Prep Academy Tutors in Collier County is seeking a passionate Mandarin instructor to teach students from beginner level through AP Chinese. You will deliver personalized lessons both in‑person and online, helping learners build confidence and fluency.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one‑on‑one, semi‑private or small‑group Mandarin lessons (in‑person and/or online).
• Prepare students for school coursework, Chinese language exams, and AP Chinese Language and Culture.
• Develop customized lesson plans and track student progress.
• Communicate regularly with parents and the Prep Academy team to ensure learning goals are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Chinese Language, Linguistics or related field (preferred).
• Teaching certification or equivalent credentials (strongly preferred).
• Experience teaching Mandarin to K‑12 students in the U.S. or international schools.
• Experience preparing students for AP Chinese is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and enthusiasm for student success.
