Managing Strategist, Email

About the role

Authentic, an award‑winning digital agency, is seeking a Managing Strategist to lead its email team. This full‑time temporary position runs through November 2026 and is remote.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as email lead on multiple client accounts, developing strategy, managing calls, setting content calendars, writing, proofing, and executing email production.
• Assign work, manage capacity, conduct reviews, and support employee development within the writing team.
• Build data‑informed email strategies, conduct A/B testing, and innovate with emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with strategists, paid media, and content teams to create holistic campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing direct reports and leading email fundraising for political or nonprofit clients.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to think creatively and solve complex problems.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of digital email strategy and fundraising best practices.
• Proficiency with G‑Suite tools (Google Drive, Sheets, Docs).
• Familiarity with progressive fundraising platforms such as ActBlue, NGP, EveryAction, Action Network, and ActionKit.

• Base salary $90,000 annually with potential raises up to 6% per year.
