Manager Trainee - Operational Strength Program

About the role

Avis Budget Group is recruiting trainees for its Operational Strength Program (OSP), starting January 2027, which prepares candidates to become Operations Managers. The program is a full-time, 12-month career-launching journey combining structured learning, functional rotations, hands-on experience and mentorship from senior leaders, with a cohort of peers from across the country.

The program is based in Tampa, Florida, and is not remote. After the initial eight-week training, participants must relocate to any location nationwide, at the company's discretion, as a mandatory condition of participation.

Required profile

• 2- or 4-year college degree, or 4 years of military service
• Willingness and ability to relocate anywhere in the United States
• Experience as a team member or team leader (e.g., sports, clubs, military)
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and holidays, with regular on-site presence
• Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States
• Strong leadership potential, resilience and a solutions-focused mindset
• Extra points for at least one year of customer service experience
