Manager, Social Media Marketing

About the role

As the Manager, Social Media Marketing you will lead Nintendo’s social media strategy, partnering with creators, agencies, and internal teams to bring iconic franchises to life online. You will shape campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and purchase intent across global audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships and partnerships to execute social media tactics and influencer collaborations.
• Negotiate contracts, plan content, gather creator feedback, and produce performance reports.
• Work with the Communications team to identify celebrity engagement opportunities.
• Lead product launch activities and coordinate short‑ and long‑term marketing initiatives.
• Direct external partners and agencies in delivering campaigns.
• Collaborate internationally and cross‑functionally to explore new awareness and advocacy channels.
• Define strategy, set objectives, and track quantitative and qualitative results for marketing programs.
• Ensure alignment of projects across all cross‑functional teams.
• Represent Nintendo as an official spokesperson when designated, after completing required training.

Required profile

• Minimum six (6) years of experience in influencer marketing, communications, public relations, or social media.
• Proven experience managing direct reports.
• Strong writing, editing, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.
