About the role
The Office of the Vice Provost for Research & Scholarship seeks a temporary Manager to lead research outreach programs, supporting faculty, staff, and students at the University of Miami.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and deliver program initiatives aligned with university objectives.
- Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and prepare reports.
- Coordinate logistics for events, communications, and social media content.
- Maintain records, track engagement, and partner with other departments to increase program awareness.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum three years of experience in program or operational management.
- Strong organizational, financial oversight, and team‑leadership abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with office software and related computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Experience managing communications, newsletters, and social media platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
