Manager of Strategic Initiatives and Planning

About the role

The Manager of Strategic Initiatives and Planning will lead analytical projects and collaborate across Enrollment Management and Student Affairs. Reporting to the Associate Vice President, the role oversees a portfolio of strategic initiatives, grant management, and continuous improvement efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor detailed project and initiative plans, conduct research, analysis, and produce reports for division leadership.
• Evaluate grant opportunities, prepare proposals, manage post‑award activities and reporting.
• Serve as divisional project manager for institution‑wide initiatives related to enrollment, retention, student success, and infrastructure.
• Assist in developing and assessing the Strategic Enrollment Plan and drive continuous improvements to division services.
• Coordinate data collection, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decisions and create dashboards for performance metrics.
• Supervise staff, conduct evaluations, provide training, and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Manage departmental budgets and grant accounts in compliance with policies and grant terms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, work cooperatively, and manage complex policies and procedures.
