About the role

The Manager of Athletics Digital Marketing leads the Texas A&M Athletics Department’s email and SMS marketing strategy, serving as the primary point of contact for fan communications. The role drives revenue and engagement through targeted campaigns that boost attendance, ticket sales, memberships, and merchandise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and optimize email and SMS campaigns using audience segmentation, automation, personalization, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
• Collaborate daily with Marketing & Fan Experience, 12th Man Foundation, Aggie NIL, and Creative units to ensure cohesive, on‑brand messaging.
• Maintain and analyze the fan database, oversee campaign analytics, and manage digital advertising media buys.
• Assist with content and push‑notification strategy for the 12th Man mobile app, coordinating with third‑party vendors.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date year‑round email marketing calendar and stay current on best practices and privacy regulations.

Required profile

• Experience in digital marketing, preferably within sports or higher‑education environments.
• Ability to work non‑standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on revenue‑driving results.
