Manager Inside Sales Support - Los Angeles

About the role

The Manager of Inside Sales Support leads the Inside Sales Support teams that give transactional and relationship-driven support to Outside Sales Representatives serving managed account customers. The territory covers the Greater Los Angeles market and Las Vegas, NV. The team handles quoting, order processing and post-sales fulfillment with Stores, Vendors, Merchants and Supply Chain, and the manager builds high-performing teams and improves service delivery and sales outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Customer service (30%): support and resolve escalations, drive root-cause analysis, share insights with sales leadership and build trust with customers and partners.
• Accountability (30%): identify performance gaps, run improvement plans, training and coaching, and manage talent planning, hiring, performance management and development.
• Leadership and management (30%): set goals and priorities, coach and review associates, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Planning and alignment (10%): gather feedback, analyse performance data, and lead projects and technology improvements that raise sales productivity.

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Experience managing sales support teams and driving operational metrics and process improvements.
• 2+ years of previous related work experience and 2+ years of leadership experience.
• High school diploma or GED; minimum education not specified.

Required skills

• Preferred: working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools such as Salesforce.
• Preferred: negotiation, complaint handling, dispute resolution, and strong written and verbal communication.
• Preferred: experience in sales organizations and customer-focused roles.

Travel is typically required 5% to 20% of the time, mostly overnight. The pay range for California, Nevada and other listed states is $80,000 to $110,000.
