Manager, Capital Markets

About the role

Mastercard’s Corporate Treasury is looking for a Manager to lead its Debt Capital Markets function. Based in Purchase, NY, you will execute the company’s capital markets strategy, including bond issuances, share repurchases and credit facility management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Debt Capital Markets function, overseeing new debt issuance and the existing $8 billion credit facility.
• Coordinate banking relationships, conduct counter‑party wallet analysis and prepare relationship summaries.
• Forecast and budget interest expense, perform variance analysis and report on the debt portfolio.
• Plan and execute share‑buy‑back programs, including broker performance analysis.
• Prepare SEC disclosures related to debt and share‑buy‑backs (10Q, 10K footnotes).
• Oversee operational processes such as coupon payments, dividend calculations and commercial paper issuance.
• Support internal controls, work with auditors and improve DCM models and processes.
• Provide analytical support for special projects across Treasury.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a proven track record of data‑driven decision making.
• Experience in corporate treasury, capital markets or related finance functions.
• Knowledge of accounting concepts and SEC reporting requirements.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong ability to create presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
