Manager, Audience Strategy

About the role

The Home Depot's marketing team sits at the intersection of brands, ideas, customers, media and content, and is looking for a Manager, Audience Strategy to help architect enterprise marketing initiatives integrated across internal and external channels. The role identifies, evaluates, designs and executes marketing initiatives against brand-building and sales-driving goals, working with business partners, marketing and channel leaders and agency partners. It reports to the Sr Manager, Audience Marketing, has no direct reports and is based in an indoor setting with occasional overnight travel under 10%.

Key responsibilities

• Brand awareness: create brand awareness activities for internal associates (10%)
• Execution: lead and support cross-functional teams in delivering high-value initiatives, special projects and requests from Marketing and Business leaders (10%)
• Projects: manage online and offline marketing programs through discovery, definition, creative development, launch, measurement and reporting (20%)
• Strategy: design and run analysis of customers, markets, competitors and current strategies to build an enterprise brand strategy and channel communications plan (60%)

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• Preferred: 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications or media planning, at a company or at a media/advertising agency
• Preferred: ability to link business goals to communication strategies and creative concepts
• Preferred: strong advocate of brand communications, especially to internal stakeholders
• Preferred: interest in technology and media developments affecting brand communications
• Preferred: ability to manage multiple internal and external partnerships
• Preferred: bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
