Manager, Accounting & Financial Reporting

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Accounting & Financial Reporting to lead the preparation, analysis, and distribution of global consolidated financial results. The role partners with senior finance leaders, controllership teams, FP&A, Investor Relations, and external auditors to ensure accurate, timely reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly consolidated financial results and management reporting packages for senior leadership.
• Support quarterly, annual, and ad‑hoc reporting requirements across finance, tax, treasury, and investor relations.
• Assist in the preparation of earnings materials, proxy statements, Forms 10‑Q/K, and related schedules.
• Deliver executive‑facing analyses that highlight trends, business drivers, and material variances.
• Lead cross‑functional projects to improve reporting efficiency, strengthen controls, and scale processes.
• Implement and assess new accounting standards, SEC regulations, and disclosure requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for quarterly reviews, annual audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Drive process‑improvement and automation initiatives within the financial close and consolidation environment.

Required profile

• B.S. in Accounting and an active CPA license.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting, corporate accounting, or financial reporting.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience with consolidated financial reporting and management reporting.
