Make-Ready Specialist – Archer Stone Canyon

About the role

We are looking for a Make‑Ready Specialist to join our Archer Stone Canyon community in San Antonio. In this hands‑on position you will prepare vacant apartments for new residents, ensuring each unit meets Greystar’s quality standards before it is re‑leased.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements listed on the community’s make‑ready checklist prior to resident move‑in.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage, perform repairs or replace sections.
• Apply touch‑up paint to vacant and occupied units under supervision.
• Maintain common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool decks, and painting curbs and signage.
• Document completed work and update maintenance records promptly.
• Follow Greystar’s safety policies, attend safety meetings and complete required OSHA training.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Customer‑service mindset – respectful interaction with residents and prompt response to maintenance inquiries.

Required skills

• Sheetrock repair and replacement.
• Caulking and sealing of fixtures.
• Touch‑up painting.
• Pressure‑washing of exterior surfaces.
• Use of general hand and power tools in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
