Maintenance Technician – Brio

About the role

The Maintenance Technician – Brio will perform technical and mechanical work to keep the building, grounds, amenities and common areas of the property in line with Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordinating vendors, and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Perform general grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.

Required profile

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance).
• Flexibility to work a rotating schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays and to be on‑call as needed.
• Compliance with Greystar safety policies, including OSHA training and incident reporting.

Required skills

• EPA Type 1 and Type II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license (required for operating a golf cart on‑site).
