Maintenance Technician (Weekend/On‑Call)

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s property team in Felix. The role involves performing technical and mechanical tasks to keep the building, grounds, amenities and common areas clean, safe and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service activities accurately and promptly for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a residential or commercial setting.
• Availability to work weekends and be on‑call as required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, complete paperwork accurately and work independently.
