Maintenance Technician – The Vinoy at Innovation Park

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of The Vinoy at Innovation Park meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position supports residents, prepares vacant units for new occupants, and performs routine upkeep of the property’s building systems and common areas.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests, diagnosing and repairing defects in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process, preparing vacant apartments for leasing by cleaning, repairing, and ensuring all fixtures are operational.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule to address after‑hours emergencies and urgent maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each task.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training in building maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, basic schematics, and safety manuals.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work a standard Monday‑Friday schedule plus on‑call rotations.
