Construction Management Intern

About the role

The Construction Management Intern works closely with field engineers and project management staff to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. This position provides hands‑on experience in planning, estimating, and coordinating construction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with field engineers to plan and direct project efforts, maintaining accountability for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain records of job progress, costs, material usage, and other project data.
• Assist in detailed planning and scheduling of jobs or job segments.
• Review plans and specifications to determine material quantities, qualities, and pricing.
• Support suppliers by expediting material deliveries and aid in quantity take‑offs for estimating.

Required profile

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex technical documents.
• Strong written communication skills for presentations and reports.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer‑aided design (CAD) software.
• Mathematical analysis skills, including calculus, algebra, and statistics.
