Maintenance Technician – The Park at Southside Works

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that the physical components of The Park at Southside Works – including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas – meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This onsite position involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing them in accordance with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments: perform pre‑move‑out inspections, generate punch lists, schedule vendors, procure supplies, complete repairs and verify finished work.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.
• Adhere to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, participating in routine safety meetings.

Required profile

• Willingness to follow established safety procedures and risk‑management policies.
• Ability to complete documentation and paperwork accurately and on time.
• Reliability in handling inventory and coordinating with vendors.
