Maintenance Technician – South Ridge

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas at the South Ridge property meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality. This full‑time position involves responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident service requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing them according to policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Assist with grounds upkeep, pressure‑washing, trash removal, and minor painting of curbs and signage.
• Support safety programs by attending meetings, completing OSHA training and reporting incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance).
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart when required.
• Willingness to be on‑call during evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• EPA Type 1 certification for refrigerant recycling.
• EPA Type 2 certification for refrigerant recycling.
• Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
