Maintenance Technician – Retreat at Fitzsimons

About the role

The Maintenance Technician for the Retreat at Fitzsimons ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time onsite role supports residents and prepares vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose defects, determine root causes, and execute repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Conduct the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors and contractors.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established policies, procedures, safety standards, and building codes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.
• Willingness to work onsite in Aurora, Colorado, and interact with residents and service teams.
