Maintenance Technician – Preston Park/Abrams Park

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of its Preston Park/Abrams Park property meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal, and painting as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and minimizing material waste.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on‑call duties.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb unaided (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart where applicable.

Required skills

• EPA Type I and II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local certifications required for service technicians.
