Maintenance Technician – Pike and Rose

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Pike and Rose community in North Bethesda. The role focuses on ensuring the building, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking of service requests.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical and technical issues and perform repairs safely.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and make‑ready procedures in residential properties.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation, inventory tracking, and quality inspections.
