Maintenance Technician

About the role

ABB is looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, reliability and safe operation of its Bartlesville manufacturing facility. The role covers facility infrastructure, building systems, production equipment, utilities and grounds, keeping operations safe, efficient and running with minimal disruption. It is an onsite position reporting to the Facilities & IT Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on production equipment, facility systems, utilities and building infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot equipment and facility issues, identify root causes and repair them, escalating when further technical support is needed.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and inspections to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Maintain electrical, mechanical, HVAC, compressed air, ventilation, plumbing and other facility and production support systems.
• Respond to production maintenance needs and work with manufacturing teams to keep production running.
• Maintain buildings, common areas, grounds and parking areas to ABB standards.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, tools, spare parts and supplies, and report recurring issues.
• Support equipment installations, facility projects, contractor activities, inspections and other site maintenance needs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience in industrial or facilities maintenance, manufacturing or a related field.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience.
• Preferred: manufacturing or production experience in an industrial environment, and trade training or certification in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing or another relevant trade.
• Preferred: Electrical Journeyman license.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, production equipment, tools and maintenance practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair and safely operate maintenance tools and equipment.
• Preferred: experience with work order systems, preventive maintenance or reliability programs.
