Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that all utilities, central plant equipment, and supporting facilities in a hospital or clinic operate safely and efficiently. You will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs while documenting all activities.

Key responsibilities

• Change air filters, replace light bulbs, and address minor plumbing issues.
• Complete work orders and preventive‑maintenance requests promptly using the proper forms.
• Monitor, operate, and adjust power‑plant and engineering equipment to achieve maximum efficiency.
• Operate and maintain the Energy Management System, adjusting heating/cooling schedules based on building loads.
• Perform building rounds, record inspection data, and report problems to supervisors.
• Carry out any other related duties as required.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a field‑work setting.

• Preventive maintenance procedures.
• Energy Management System operation.
• Equipment troubleshooting and adjustment.
