Maintenance Technician – Industrial & Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Killer Brownie® Co. You will be responsible for keeping all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and related systems in optimal condition, supporting both the maintenance and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operation, inspection, and upkeep of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Assist contractors with maintenance and repair activities and independently complete designated tasks.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure proper maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment.
• Perform routine interior maintenance, including HVAC/R coil and evaporator cleaning and general equipment servicing.
• Handle minor plumbing repairs and maintain lighting systems, including bulb and ballast replacement.
• Complete special assignments such as painting, basic locksmith duties, and tenant service requests.
• Follow safety protocols, maintain a clean work area, and proactively address potential hazards.
• Adhere to food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, and OSHA regulations.
• Store, use, and dispose of hazardous materials safely according to company policies.
• Document maintenance activities and coordinate with vendors for parts and manuals.
• Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals as needed.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment and respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Train and guide junior technicians on basic maintenance procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or food manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lb and work on ladders up to 30 ft.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
