Maintenance Technician II – Property Maintenance

About the role

Join Main Street Renewal’s fast‑growing team as a Maintenance Technician II, providing essential repairs and upkeep for single‑family rental homes across the Atlanta market.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily work orders, gather needed supplies, and schedule tasks while communicating arrival times to residents.
• Complete property maintenance—including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and lock/key work—within service level agreement timeframes.
• Document repairs with before/after photos, close work orders on site, and track tool and supply usage.
• Perform rekeying, pre‑move‑in audits, and assist peers as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; minimum 1 year of maintenance experience in single‑family or multi‑family property management.
• Valid driver’s license, age 21+, and ability to lift up to 50 lb and work on ladders.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer‑service skills.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Fundamental electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repair skills.
• Experience with lock/key replacement and general household repairs.
