Maintenance Technician – Fort Lee, NJ

About the role
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our property management team in Fort Lee, New Jersey. The role focuses on ensuring the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.
Key responsibilities
- Complete work orders generated from resident requests, diagnosing the source of defects and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks across the property to reduce equipment downtime.
- Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors and contractors.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Required profile
- Ability to perform technical and mechanical work on building systems and equipment.
- Strong attention to safety standards and code compliance.
- Effective problem‑solving skills to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues.
