Maintenance Technician for Metro Edgewater Property

About the role
The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the Metro Edgewater high‑rise property remains clean, safe, and fully functional. You will work on a variety of mechanical and technical tasks, supporting both resident requests and preventative upkeep.
Key responsibilities
- Complete work orders from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance.
- Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
- Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
- Document service requests accurately and maintain up‑to‑date paperwork.
- Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, including trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
- Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and minimizing waste.
Required profile
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical or building defects in accordance with safety standards and code requirements.
- Strong organizational skills for tracking inventory and completing documentation.
- Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating on‑call duties.
