Maintenance Technician for Meadowlawn Apartments

About the role
Greystar is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the Meadowlawn Apartments team, a 55+ community built around a 9‑hole golf course in Oregon. The role focuses on maintaining the physical condition of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality.
Key responsibilities
- Complete resident service requests and repairs promptly, including appliance repairs.
- Prepare apartments for new move‑ins by performing the “make‑ready” process.
- Maintain cleanliness of exterior buildings, parking areas, and common spaces.
- Assist with vendor management and coordinate external service providers.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on equipment and facilities.
Required profile
- Proven ability to safely use and maintain hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
- Experience with painting, entry‑level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
