Maintenance Technician – Avana City Park

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Avana City Park in Clearwater, Florida. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas safe, functional and presentable.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks across the property to ensure equipment and systems operate reliably.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, preparing apartments for new move‑ins by conducting inspections and completing necessary repairs or replacements.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule to address after‑hours emergencies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant trade certifications preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical manuals and building codes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work Monday‑Friday with occasional on‑call duties.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general building systems.
• Use of hand and power tools safely.
