Maintenance Technician – Addison Row

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s Addison Row community in Capitol Heights. The role ensures that apartments, common areas and grounds are kept safe, functional and presentable for residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Track and control inventory of tools, parts and supplies, returning unused items and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately and maintain up‑to‑date paperwork.
• Maintain grounds and amenities by collecting debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to Greystar’s risk‑management policies.

Required profile

• Experience performing mechanical and technical maintenance in a residential or property‑management setting.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, safety procedures and building codes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete documentation accurately.
• Willingness to work onsite and collaborate with vendors and contractors.
