Materials Support and Facility Lead

About the role

AUI Power is looking for a Materials Support and Facility Lead to ensure construction crews have the right materials, tools, equipment, and facility support when needed. This role coordinates logistics, anticipates needs, and resolves issues to keep projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead material planning and coordination across multiple job sites.
• Oversee receiving, inspection, and inventory control for project materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain material tracking systems for availability, accuracy, and traceability.
• Support facility maintenance, warehouse set‑up, and organization standards.
• Direct delivery drivers and warehouse technicians.
• Monitor stock levels, reorder points, and usage to avoid shortages or overstock.
• Ensure materials meet project specifications, safety standards, and codes.
• Manage warehouse operations, onsite material staging, and yard organization.
• Track and document material and equipment transfers, including rentals.
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, field supervisors, and vendors to prevent bottlenecks.

Required profile

• 3+ years of material management experience, preferably in construction or utilities.
• Background in supply chain or construction management.
• Strong knowledge of electrical components, construction materials, and procurement workflows.
• Ability to resolve inventory, billing, specification, and scheduling issues using critical thinking.
