Maintenance Technician - 403 West

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of the 403 West property—including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This full‑time position works Monday‑Friday with a rotating on‑call schedule and may involve occasional travel to other properties.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing them according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Assist with grounds and amenity upkeep by trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning and painting as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Compliance with Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, including participation in safety meetings and OSHA training.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• EPA Type I and II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to use standard maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively.
