Maintenance Technician – 23Twelve

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that all building systems, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This full‑time position supports resident satisfaction by responding to service requests and performing preventative maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Conduct preventative maintenance across the property to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset life.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors and ensuring units are ready for new occupants.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed, obtaining quotes and overseeing the quality of work performed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used and labor hours.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in building maintenance, preferably in residential or multifamily settings.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and follow safety protocols.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with work‑order management systems.
• Competence in using hand and power tools safely.
