Drop Installation Laborer

About the role

Stimulus Technologies is seeking a Drop Installation Laborer to join its fiber construction crew in Henderson. You will work under the direction of a Drop Supervisor to install fiber drops that connect subscribers to the network, supporting the company’s SLFRF and BEAD‑funded projects across rural Nevada.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with drop installation tasks, including running, placing, and securing aerial and buried drop cable.
• Load, unload, transport, and stage materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
• Dig, trench, or bore for buried drop placement using hand tools or small equipment.
• Support splicing preparation, slack storage, and cable routing as directed.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site, vehicle, and equipment.
• Report material needs, equipment issues, or site obstacles to the Drop Supervisor.
• Follow all safety practices, PPE requirements, and site protocols, including 811 locate compliance.
• Interact professionally with customers and property owners, escalating concerns when needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• No prior fiber or construction experience required; willingness to learn hands‑on installation work.
• Ability to follow instructions closely.
