Drop Installation Manager

About the role

The Drop Installation Manager leads Stimulus Technologies' in‑house crews that connect subscribers to the fiber network. This field‑based position ensures every drop installation is safe, on schedule, and meets the company’s quality standards across multiple states.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and direct daily drop installation activities for crews in assigned project areas.
• Ensure installations comply with Stimulus standards, project specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
• Track progress against grant‑mandated timelines, identify at‑risk areas and adjust crew assignments to stay compliant.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, permitting and clients to align installation schedules with network readiness.
• Conduct quality inspections of completed drops, verifying workmanship, routing, labeling and documentation.
• Manage material inventory, logistics and staging, working with procurement to avoid shortages.
• Maintain accurate daily production records and resolve field issues such as access problems, routing conflicts and permit constraints.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading construction or telecom installation crews.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and ability to enforce them on site.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for field‑level challenges.
• Ability to work independently and serve as the primary liaison between crews, project management and senior leadership.
