Maintenance Supervisor - South Portland/Wilsonville

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee technical and mechanical work for its South Portland/Wilsonville community. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with and complete work orders generated from resident requests, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, interiors, breezeways, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Periodically inspect work performed by service team members and external contractors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, coordinating with the Community Manager to order supplies within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in the policy manual.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and perform repairs according to established policies and safety codes.
• Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and internal service teams.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory management and scheduling.
• Commitment to upholding Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall property appearance.
