Maintenance Technician – Veri at Timberhill

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Veri at Timberhill property in Portland. The role ensures that the building’s physical components, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, cleanliness and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, obtaining supplies, completing repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to read and follow work orders, safety procedures and building codes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks independently.
• Good organizational skills for inventory management and documentation.

Required skills

• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with pressure‑washing equipment.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
