Maintenance Supervisor – Regency Park (TX)

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the community’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of make‑ready processes and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and routine upkeep, diagnosing issues and performing repairs per safety codes.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, interiors, signage and parking areas.
• Inspect work of team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with policies and quality specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, order supplies within budget, and execute monthly preventative maintenance.
• Assist the Community Manager with budgeting for repairs, capital projects and cost‑control initiatives.
• Conduct safety meetings, keep MSDS sheets current and ensure OSHA compliance.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience; background in property‑management maintenance or a related trade.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively, provide strong customer service and handle resident inquiries professionally.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets and database tools; property‑management system experience preferred.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• EPA Type I & II or Universal certification for HVAC work.
• Valid driver’s license (golf‑cart operation if applicable).
• Competence with hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment and measuring devices.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, MSDS handling and OSHA standards.
