Groundskeeper for Residential Community

About the role

The Groundskeeper ensures the community’s exterior spaces, amenities, and overall curb appeal are maintained to Greystar’s standards. This role supports the service team and contributes to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect common areas throughout the day, removing litter, debris, pet droppings, and keeping amenities tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before make‑ready, transport it to dumpsters or storage, and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests, assist the make‑ready specialist, and change locks per property policy.
• Ensure pool gates function according to safety codes and distribute resident notices as needed.
• Report hazards, respond to resident questions, and handle maintenance complaints respectfully.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA and other required training, and promptly report accidents.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance), and work in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on call.

Required skills

• Basic lock‑changing proficiency.
• Knowledge of safety and risk‑management procedures.
