Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee and perform technical and mechanical work to ensure that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role is part of a transition in the NoDa area of Charlotte, NC.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders generated from resident requests and routine community upkeep, diagnosing issues and making repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Develop and maintain standards for the appearance and cleanliness of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, unit interiors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas, parking lots, and other common areas.
• Periodically inspect work performed by service team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards, scope, and specifications, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, coordinating with the Community Manager to order supplies within budgetary guidelines.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in the maintenance plan.
