Maintenance Supervisor for Sabine Street Lofts

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities, and common areas at Sabine Street Lofts meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance processes and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance and upkeep of grounds, building exteriors, interiors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Conduct periodic inspections of work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality and scope specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, coordinating orders with the Community Manager while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in the policy manual.
• Assist the Community Manager with additional maintenance-related duties as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical or building defects.
• Ability to oversee make‑ready processes and coordinate multiple vendors.
• Strong attention to detail in developing and applying cleanliness and appearance standards.
• Experience inspecting work quality and implementing corrective actions.
• Organizational skills for inventory management and budgeting.
• Commitment to performing scheduled preventative maintenance.
